How To Use The Steamer?

I own the Tupperware Steamer & can't find directions on how to use it?

• I do not have any directions and this is the second time I have asked this questions. Last time people said go to the Tupperware web site, but it did not help. I want to know how much water you put in it and how long you cook the vegtables. Please don't send me to a web site unless it gives exact directions on how to use it.   I'm not sure which Tupperware steamer you're referring to since they have more than model. The one I have I bought 15 years ago, it's dusty pink and is oblong. That said, cover the bottom of the base with water or broth, about 1/2 inch worth so it has room without touching the middle piece when you put it on. Put the middle on top and place your veggies, chicken or fish. It works best if they've been defrosted. Put the lid on and if there isn't a vegetable button on your microwave then cook for about 4 minutes, stir it and cook for another 3 minutes. You might need more time if you're cooking meat, or less time for a small amount of veggies or veggies that you like with some crunch still in them. You're supposed to be able to cook rice in it too, without using the middle insert, but I've never tried that because I don't eat minute rice.
