How To Bake Chicken?

How does this chef bake this Parmesan Chicken?

  • In this video recipe he says bake it at 350 degree for 35 minutes. My oven uses real fire, so I can either use the fire on top or the fire at the bottom or both. So should I just bake it from below? This is the recipe I'm talking about: http://allrecipes.com/video/311/easy-chicken-parmesan-bake/detail.aspx?prop24=RR_RelatedVideo

  • Answer:

Use the lower fire, but keep the tray where your chicken's gonna sit nice and even in the middle of the oven. If you're having problems with the temperature itself, you can get a good thermometer that you can actually sit inside of the oven, run a cord out and have a readout you can watch. Hope that helps!

Other answers

What does having a "real fire" oven have to do with it? The chicken needs to be baked at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. It doesn't matter if it's a gas (fire) or electric (heat coil) oven - it still needs to be at 350... BAKE means heat from the bottom. BROIL means heat from the top.
