how do I make home made ice-cream? I want to make Vanilla ice-cream for shops and I need a really good recipe. Could you please also tell me how to make 'cream' if heavy cream is needed from just regular ingredients. please and thank you *I need all this to be from scratch

Cook, stirring continuously, until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon, 10 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. In a medium bowl, whip cream with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Beat in vanilla and lemon juice, and whip until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cooled custard. Chill in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. Stir chilled mixture to recombine, and freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. A star for you...because i have NO clue whatsoever. I found this tho...i dont know how good it is, but i know the site it came from is normaly fantastic. INGREDIENTS 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 cups whipping cream 2 cups half-and-half cream 2 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract DIRECTIONS In a heavy saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick enough to coat a metal spoon and reaches at least 160 degrees F. Remove from the heat; cool quickly by setting pan in ice and stirring the mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight or freeze immediately. When ready to freeze, pour custard and vanilla into the cylinder of an ice cream freezer. Freeze according to the manufacturer's directions.

I have a super fun and easy recipe for ice cream. this is great for birthday partys and kids, not so great if you need large batches... you will need... lots of ice(depends on how much your making) lots of salt (rock salt is best) whole milk or heavy cream sugar vanilla or chocolate syrup if you want chocolate put about 20 ice cubes or about 3 cups if you buy the ice, in a 1 gallon zipper bag, add 1/4 C salt to the ice, place the ice bag in another 1 gallon bag in case it leaks. put 1/2 C milk or cream in a 1 quart zipper bag, add 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 2 tblsp sugar (give or take for preference) seal bag after carefuly squeesing out air, put in another 1 quart zipper bag, squeez air out and seal. put ice cream bags into salt and Ice bag, seal both 1 gallon bags. wrap in a towel and roll or massage until thickened ( about 5-8 minutes) tip- the more you move it, the quicker it sets up... kids love this, its so fun and quick, start to finish it takes about 15 minutes. the effect is a firm soft serve ice cream. you can also use lactos free milk, it works well too.
