How To Cook Pork Chops?

How to cook boneless pork chops?

  • I have my recipe..I just dont know how long to cook the chops and at what degree (in the oven)...theres 6 of them and they are pretty thick.

  • Answer:

Depending on your recipe and what other ingredients are involved is how your figure your time factor. If it is just meat then 350, covered for about 45 minutes, then uncovered for the last 15 minutes. The internal temperature for pork should be 145 - 160 degrees. See the attached link for a chart on all meat and seafood temperatures. Good luck!

Are you searing them first? If you are, sear them both sides and stick in the oven about 15 minutes or so. 425 is a pretty safe bet for small meats. If you're not searing them (although I don't know why you would do that), they'll need 5 or 7 minutes longer. Poke em, though - the meat should spring back. You should be able to think "uh-oh they're gonna be tough if I leave em in any longer". Good luck!
