Please tell me few ways to promote my cooking blog?

  • Hi friends am a newbie to blogging and my blog is about Indian cooking. Am very much interested in promoting and developing my blog. Are there any ways to promote blogs? My blog's URL is, http://youtoocancookindianfood.blogspot.in/

    Update the content regularly and make sure it is interesting- include pictures and recipes. You might also include other information about Indian language, culture, etc. The more often it is updated, the more often people will visit- and the more likely they will refer the site to friends. Share the link on your Facebook page and ask your friends to share it with others. Engage your guests- ask questions so that they communicate with you. You might ask, for instance, if any of them have ever been to India, or what countries they have visited or would like to visit. You might ask if they have a favorite Indian dish that they would like to see featured or how often they eat Indian meals at home or in a restaurant, etc.

Here are some ideas: Facebook... create a page and share on your profile. Ask your friends to share it Talk to people, print a couple little 'business cards' or something with the link Bulletin boards at schools or in grocery stores also at sports halls/gyms... thats all i can think of off the top of my head, but hope it helps :)
