How do I make chocolate milk?

  • I have several powdered milk (one quart size) packets Nestle quick drink mix (also powered, jumbo size zip lock bag) that I got from the food bank. The powered milk is just add water. I want to turn it into chocolate milk to be able to drink it better. How much of the nestle quick drink mix do I add to the powered milk before adding the water? I want to make a full quart of chocolate milk. Thanks! Oh...no directions came with the chocolate milk powder either, but I know it's for making chocolate milk with. BTW-I got some pretty rude comments last time I asked this. Yes I have a computer at home and the internet. But it's my room mates computer and they pay for the internet and I pay for cable and phone. All of us have to resort using the food bank-thus where I got the powered milk and powered chocolate milk rip off. My room mate and I need the computer and internet for work, but both of our employers are too cheap to pay for it.

    I am going to try to take you seriously and give you an honest answer. Take one of the quart sized powered milk packets and and start with one cup of the Nestle Quick drink mix. Add whatever the recommended amount of water is for the powered milk and mix well. Give it a taste test. It might not be "chocolate" enough. Keep adding a bit more of the Nestle power and keep taste testing until you like it. Good luck!

are the instructions on the bag of dry milk? follow them to make a quart of milk. If not, its 3/4 cup powdered milk to 3 1/4 cup cold water. Stir well to mix. chill it really well because it tastes HORRID. making it Ice cold helps. Then add the Nestle quick a couple of tablespoons at at time to a glass of chilled milk. Taste it to see if its strong enough. I LOVE having dry milk on hand. It lasts for ever and can be used to make gravy, milk, pudding, sauces, what ever needs milk in it.

Don't like honesty? You ought to get off your butt and get a better job. Why should your employer pay for you to be on Yahoo Answers? Again, how messed up are your priorities and your room mate's when you own a computer, pay cable for Internet access, and drink powdered food bank milk? Get a second job. I had a second job most of my life so my kids had milk on the table and not from a food bank. Sad.
