when you fry chicken or anything for that matter it usually floats to the top and that's how you know it's done but cut into it and see if it's pink if it is it needs to be in there longer

I NEVER COOK MY CHICKEN BEFORE FRYING!!!! I put 1/2 cup milk in a bowl, then 1 egg beat together, add in your worsterchire sauce, chicken seasoning, meat tenderizer, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion salt, chili powder -just a dash of each. Then in a seperate bowl put in 2 cups of flour. Dip your chicken in the milk mixture then roll in the flour. Heat your skillet and add in 2 cups of oil let get to a sizzling hot then add your chicken ,fry @350 degrees slowly on each sides until really crispy, but not burned.

Never heard of anyone boiling it first. Just roll it in flour and flop it in the pan until it's tender, sweetie.

I wash my chicken, pat it dry. Dip it in milk and roll it in bread crumbs mixed with flour. Salt & Pepper (sometimes I also use lemon pepper) it. Place it in a hot pan with about an inch of oil in the bottom and let it fry until golden brown, turning every few minutes, usually takes about 25-30 minutes. Sometimes instead of using bread crumbs I use crumbled corn flakes. Put a lid on it because the oil will splatter. ENJOY!

First it is not Boiling it is frying. Fry it for about 8 minutes on each side two times. When it starts to kind of float then it is done. Better yet, cut the piece to the bone and if there is no blood then it is done.

I don't know the exact time but I would stick a fork in the meaty part and if the juice running out is clear and not pink it is done. Probably 20 -30 minutes.

Take a biotherm(thermometer for meat) and check the internal temperature. If its 160, time to eat!

13-14 min when the oil is hot.

If the chicken is still pinkish, it's not done. If the batter is darkening or blackening, it's either cajun (spicy?) or it's burned.
