How To Make Candy?

How do you make a candy bouquet?

  • I'm needing help on how to make a candy bouquet. The occasion is our anniversary is coming and I want it to have something like a Teddy bear with candy in the back. I just don't know how to make it. Can you please help?

  • Answer:

My first suggestion is to find your teddy. That will determine how big the whole thing needs to be. Buy a basket twice as big as your teddy's backside, then buy a foam block that fits down inside the basket. You may have to cut a foam block down to fit. Cover the block with either colored plastic wrap or tissue paper. Sit your teddy in front, on top of the foam. To make the bouquet part, take long wooden skewers (8-12" long) & skewer things like unwrapped Ferraro Rocher chocolates, Hershey's Hugs, coconut-covered marshmallows, & white or dark Reese's cups (vertically, like sunflowers) on a few of them. Stick them down into the foam so they stand up. Then on a few more skewers, skewer colorful chewy candies like unwrapped Starbursts, Skittles or Mambo chews. You can also skewer Twizzlers by skewering an inch, then putting a bend in the candy, then skewering another inch, so you get a snaked style skewer. Stick all your candy skewers in behind your teddy & fill in any blank space. Good luck!
