Here are two easy recipes that should hide the taste of pork chops. Just curious, why would cook something that you find disgusting? Note: If you have 4 or you have 8 chops and they are a bit more than 1 inch thick, you can use the same recipes, just increase the cooking time a bit if thicker than 1 inch. The most important thing about cooking pork chops is not overcooking them! -Rub with olive oil on both sides. -Sprinkle with a tasty pork rub - if you don't have any rub, try salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and a sprinke of paprika. -Sprinkle some brown sugar or drizzle honey if you like sweetness. -Now you can cook in oven or on your grill for 20-30 inutes until internal temperature is at about 160. Just stick any meat thermometer in the thickest part. If you cook in oven, put some water and apple juice in the bottom of your pan to keep them moist. -Or you can sear in a pan in some oil or butter if you want to do it a bit quicker.

Cook them medium-well. Most of the problem with poke chops is overcooking them. If you pan-fry them it takes about 4 minutes a side for the typical 1/2 inch chop. Don't dry them out and make them tough. On the second side, cover the skillet and let the steam keep them moist. A little lower heat than you would cook a burger. Salt and pepper each side is all it takes. ---Oh, thick cut, 5 minutes a side, remove pan from heat and let rest 5 minutes.

Combine 1/2 cup flour with 1 tbsp dry mustard and 1 tbsp garlic powder. Dredge chops in flour and brown in skillet. Meanwhile, throw leftover flour in a crock pot. Throw chops in crock pot and add one can chicken bouillon. Cook on low heat 4 to 5 hours. Stir gravy and serve on top of chops. These are very tender and flavorful.

Try coating them in mustard, season them with the basic stuff. Fry them with a little oil and make sure your pan is nice and hot. May sound gross but its really good, you don't even taste the mustard. Or you can throw them in the oven, or if you have a grill throw them on there. Just make sure they are seasoned.

Pork chops need to be seared first on both sides. Then lower heat & add moisture (wine or apple juice). Cover & simmer for 1/2 hour until 170F inside.
