How do I make a cherry pie?

How can I make my pie more appetizing so that my husband will want to eat it?

  • I've tried covering it with whipped cream, but he still turns his nose up at it. I don't really understand, because my neighbor LOVES eating my pie, he says it's the best that he has ever had. He said that he could eat it "til the cows come home". I think that his wife even gets jealous that he likes MY pie much better than hers. (I think it's because her pie is a little overly-crusty) Even my ex-husband loved it. He said it was the juiciest and mouth-watering pie in the state of Virginia. I'm starting to think that maybe my husband isn't really a "pie" kind of guy? It seems like he eats a lot of bratwurst and sausage. Are there any kinds of fruits, maybe, that I could put inside of my pie so that he'll be tempted to at least nibble a bit?

    What you need is a good recipe for steak and kidnay pie. Just replace the steak and kidney with a big schlong...ummm... I mean sausage and I bet he'll lap it up like there's no tomorrow. If he doesn't like whipped cream, try mixing some yoghurt with a pinch of salt and put that on your pie.

Its hard to answer without first eating your pie. Sure your ex and your neighbor say they like your pie, but they could be just trying to be nice. Since its Memorial Day weekend, how about your try to arrange a block party so all your neighbors can sample your pie or even better have a pie contest, so you can find out if you have the best pie in the neighborhood.
