Is a Walmart visa gift card the same as a prepaid visa card?

Walmart Visa Gift Card/ iTunes Question????????????????????

Someone gave me a walmart visa gift card thats already been used. The card says that it has $100 but i checked online and it only has $5 (its okay because that's how much he owed me.) I decided to use the $5 on itunes to buy songs. My question is, will iTunes send me a bill at home if i exceed the $5? I really don't want them sending a bill at home. Another question, is it safe to use a gift card that wasn't really for you? Will the person who originally gave the visa gift card to my friend recieve information about my billing info, iTunes, etc??? Thank you very much:)
