Can you watch French TV channels in America?

Am I the only person in America who doesn't watch TV?

  • I do not watch TV, and I don't have cable TV, Satellite TV, or any of that. But when I tell people that, they look at me as strangely as if I'd just told them that I still drive a horse and buggy instead of a car. Today's TV shows are just not entertaining to me. Am I the only person in America who doesn't watch TV? In fact, I spend a lot of time listening to the radio. I'd rather hear a football game on the radio than to see it on TV. A good sports announcer can describe football action so well that it's more interesting to me to hear the game on the radio than on the TV. For example, Eli Gold is an incredible sports announcer and I love to hear him on the radio.

    No. I don't have a cable TV either, and I stopped watching TV since grade 7. From then on, I chose to do more productive things with my time, and my family soon followed. I noticed that many of my friends no longer use TVs, but use the TV screens as their monitors. The only reason why they still have a cable is because their parents or grandparents or whatever still like to watch TV. I would say that TV's going old and is becoming something normal. Youtube is the new TV, Netflix is the new movies gateway, etc. Internet is taking over. ;) Oh yea, and I'm writing this from Canada. XD

I'm the same way. I just don't like today's tv shows. I do, however, love old tv shows like Sanford & Son, the Partridge Family, and I Dream of Jeannie. The old shows are where it's at, to me. TV was funnier back then without being dirty or crude. Music was also better then than it is now as well. I don't have cable, I can watch those shows online. So yeah. There's nothing wrong with not being into today's stuff because it stinks for the most part.
