How to start writing books for preschool?

How do I pursue a career writing childrens books. I have a talent in this area,but don't know how to start.

Somewhere in your internet search quest, you'll not only find a directory of children's book publishers, but maybe FREE advice on how to compose a manuscript, have it copyrighted BEFORE you submit it to a publisher. Also: be prepared for rejections. Remember: the determined always win.

Buy a copy of the 2006 Edition of the Writers & Artistes Yearbook. This has all the information you need. Alternatively, look at the publishers of some childrens books, and if yours has a similar feel, then get the addresses and submit to them.
