DJ Equipment for a beginner?

Can someone help with my setup?(dj's only)?

  • Hey guys, hows it going? I've always wanted to Dj and this year I finally got a chance to start. But I don't know too much about equipment and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have a macbook pro and recently got a Numark Ns6 which I love. It came with Serato Itch, but I heard people say I should get Virtual Dj instead. Should I? I'm a beginner and a bedroom Dj at this point. What other equipment should do I need other than what I already have? Also, I was wondering what type of speakers would be good and you guys would recommend? Thanks a lot!!!

    UMM well Numark does make some good controllers. Ive messed around with the ns7 but not the ns6 so i can't tell you much about that. All the programs such as serato and VDJ are all the same. Just some people prefer different ones, its all up to you. Since you already have itch just familiarize your self with it. Plus its native to the ns6 so you shouldn't have any problems. Mac book Pro is good to have just make sure it has a decent size ram so your computer doesn't crap out. My advice is to STAY a bedroom Dj for awhile till you feel the confidence to perform. You'll also need a nice pair of headphones and some studio monitors for your room. KRK Rokit G2 speakers are nice. Well Good luck. if u have any questions email me

First put the wiggly thingy to the middle and then press some buttons and swith a wwitch on and some off after that u press play to the left disc nd then u giggle it for like a min then u do the same thing to the sevond one then u just add the music and then press more buttons to loop and wiggle some stuff there and there u are dOne
