What should I bring to Vans Warped Tour and what should I expect?

  • I am going to Warped tour for the first time and I was wondering what I should bring with me, how much money should I bring with me, and what will it be like there? I'm going to the one on August 2nd at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN.

    Bring: Backpack, Water, Sunscreen, Hand Sanitizer, Pen, Extra Cash. Bring between $150-200 you will spend at least $30 on food/water. They have a lot of tents at warped tour so you should explore the tents because they have more than just Band Merch. They sell jewelry, purses, skateboards, organizations, water slide, etc.. Don't wear flip flops if you plan on going into the crowd you will lose them and your feet will get stepped on. Don't bother wearing makeup you will just sweat it off anyway. Dress for the weather. Honestly you should bring at LEAST $100. You will get very dehydrated very fast, and water is expensive. Also, don't bring anything more than you ABSOLUTELY need. Bring ID, a cell phone, and cash, and if you absolutely must a camera. But keep in mind that everything you bring you will have to carry at all times because I'm pretty sure there's no readmission. It will be hot, sweaty, and crowded. But it will also be really fun if you, like me, are into that kind of environment.

I would bring atleast $40, LOTS of venders. When I went we were not allowed to bring bags inside the gates. Be prepared for a lot of great music, condoms and beer everywhere, and and stupid gards that won't let you get on stage. Oh and mosh pits!!! They start at most of the good groups slot. It's great!!!!
