How to spot fake concert tickets?

Has anyone ever been to an ADELE concert?

I'm thinking about going to an Adele concert but I don't know how to get the tickets and I'd like to get some tickets earlier then the concert so I have a guaranteed spot. However, I don't know about any good websites that have tickets to sell because I'd rather go up to a person myself and pay them and get the tickets right away if you get what I'm saying. So what I'm trying to ask is if you have been to any Adele concert yourself, what did you do to get tickets? Did you get them straight from the place where the concert was held? Also, was it sold out or do I have a chance of actually buying tickets from the place itself?
