    There are 2 types I used to make when I was a child. The first one is pretty simple and flys a good distance too. Take a sheet of ordinary notebook paper (8 1/2 X 11) fold it the long way in half (vertically). Unfold it to leave the crease down the middle. On both sides next- take the corner and match the short side up with the fold down the center BUT only do it on one end. Next you basically repeat what you just did. Find the new corners (on both sides) and match the "new" short side up with the fold down the center. Next -Fold the next crease in the opposite direction - outwards instead of inwards. You'll have to press down hard cause you're folding 4 layers of paper. Bend the "wings" back in the direction you just folded at a 90 degree angle from "the body" on both sides. When you're done and you look at it from the end, it looks like a "T". Aim the really pointy end at something and toss away. If you throw one of these from a spot up off of the ground, they'll fly for quite a decent distance. EDIT : here's a copy of the link from the first answer. First you need to find a piece of paper, preferably 11 1/2 x 8 in size. Then your gonna need to make one fold down the middle of the sheet long ways, make sure to crease it really well. then unfold the paper so its flat again. Starting with the top right corner, grab it and pull it to the left until the top edge is lined up with the first crease you made. Once that's done do the same thing to the left side. By now you should have something that resembles a square with a triangle on top. bla bla bla bla do some more folds and BOOM! you end up with the most awesome paper airplane in the world! Good luck and have fun throwing paper around the house, remember that people love it when you throw paper airplanes at their faces!
