How to fix Guitar wiring?

What does having a warped guitar mean. and how to fix it?

• About 2 years ago i got my first guitar for a Christmas present. its electric. today my guitar instructor looked and my guitar and said it was warped. what does that mean,? Also i showed him a spot on my guitar.. bhind the neck where it attaches to the body it came with a piece of cardboard paper type thing folded up and put in between there.. he thinks when it was being made they new it was warped but sold it that way anyway.. its an alright starter guitar... but can is it worth fixing?

  i would say it totally depends on how bad its warped and if it affects the sound and functionality of the guitar...the solid neck usually gets warped from leaving it in a humid climate too long or even cold weather..like if you left it in your car over night and it was ten below, your guitar would be wrecked after possibly one night...one quick fix is to order a new neck from the manufacturer..it would most likely fix the problem or if you have a handy father to help you, you could soak the neck in water for a few hours and make a rig out of rope and clamps to hold the neck in the opposite direction that it is bowing...this could however just make another warped section giving you two instead of one...i would recommend just getting a new neck or a whole new guitar...you can also look up the serial number in case it was supposed to be marked b stock and wasn't, you should be able to get your money back if the manufacturer didn't properly mark the guitar as a factory second or "slightly defected" product.
