Has anyone bought a TV from eBay? How was it?

Ebay...has anyone ever bought anything usefull on ebay, and actually thought they got a bargain?

  • i know loads of peopl that buy stuff on ebay, but half the time i dont reckon they got a bargain, i reckon they could have got it cheaper else where...... what do you reckon?....do you use it? if so what do you think? if you dont use ebay, why not?....

  • Answer:

I bought a digital camera for £30, works perfectly. A digital telephone that I've had for 2 years and paid £15 for. I bought brand new Dreamweaver (web design software) for £70 instead of £300. And my daughter bought a car for £68 that she had for a year with out any problems and it passed it's MOT. I could go on but I have made my point.

I got some Clarins fake Tan for £6.50 (rrp £20) and urban decay makeup for £4 (rrp £25). I also think it's great for books, clothes and bags. Buying just after Xmas is the best time as everyone is skint.

OOOoooh, yes. I've bought a number of bits & pieces cheap: Miss piggy T-shirt (new) at two pound Billy Idol CDs for 50p to three pound DVDs from 89p A Manchester City watch for a fiver You can get some good bargains but be very careful with the postage, that's where it can hit you, big time. xxx

I have bought loads of bargains on ebay and sold a lot on it as well. My most recent bagain was a router so i could play xbox 360 live. It was second hand, but only used for a couple of months. I got it for 0.99p with £4.00 postage and it turned up in 3 days like i just bought it on the internet from Argos.

I use ebay loads and love it. I get all my 'bike spares there at least half price and my partner buys all her clothes from there, usually brand new with the tag still on for less than a fiver. Check the sellers feedback, research prices elsewhere, learn to trust a little.

I bought Versace sunglasses(real ones) with posh case on eBay for £15. They were second hand and in excellent condition. That was two years ago and I still wear my bargain with pride.

My dad (61) just got his first PC and after being phoned daily with inane questions I got him "The Internet for Dummies". It was £5.60 including postage and was in perfect condition, Amazon lists it as RRP £14.99, their price £9.89 new or £4.06 used plus postage. Saving a fortune in phone bills now so definitely a bargain!!! Bought lots of other things (PC components, craft, clothes, books, games etc.) and never felt I didn't get a good deal.

Oh yes, great for bras and swimwear, only buy new stuff (with tags). Also good for books and collectors items.
