Everytime I play the high A on an alto saxophone, it sounds airy. Help?
-
Any time I play high A on ANY alto saxophone, it's airy. It's the only note that does that. All of my other notes sound fine. I've been playing for 3 years. I'm hoping someone can help.

Answer:
yea, that happens to me too. Also on the really low notes. Sometimes the tighter you squezze your lips together and the closer you bring them to the edge, the easier it is. Hope that helped you.
