12 Year Olds and a Boy/Girl Sleepover Problem!?

  • Okay I'm 11 turning 12 this january. I want a boy girl sleepover. My parents say no and that someone will become pregnant. I'm turning 12 what am I going to do seriously. I feel like a loner because most people in my area have boy girl sleep overs and I'm not allowed to. I really want a good party like this since I'm making the move to high school and it's like my graduation. I JUST NEED WAYS TO CONVINCE MY PARENTS. WE WILL BE SLEEPING IN DIFFERENT ROOMS!

    i think your parents are on to something good. although, not allowing you to HAVE boy/girl sleep overs is just going to push you to lie to go to one.... you are starting to find out more about boys. and they are physically and mentally becoming more applealing to you, as well. your parents both were children/teens/preteens, too ya know....they do know somethings....you may not be the one whos having sex, but what if 2 of your friends do and get pregnant at your party?? how do you think that will make your parents feel knowing that they allowed it to happen at their house all because you wanted a boy/girl sleep over? probably not good. X3

I wouldn't allow you either. You're 12. You don't do boy/girl "sleepovers." Maybe when you are 21. I respect your parents. You should too.

Don't waste your time. Your parents don't want you to have it and your not going to get it. You don't NEED to have a boy-girl sleepover party and if you want one just because other people in your area has them then your just a "copy-cat". Come up with something better, something that surpasses what the people in your area has been doing.

ok how the heck can u be 11 turning 12 and going into highschool? and why does it have to be a sleepover. No good parents would let a 12 year old have a boy girl sleepover thats ridiculous. Im 15 & ik theres no way in hell my parents would let me do that. Why dont u just invite them over and not have a sleepover?

I am sure you won't like this, but I would NEVER have a boy-girl sleepover for my Son. While I don't think someone would get pregnant necessarily, it is asking for trouble..nope, no way, uh-uh, sorry!
