Girls having a low self-esteem when seeing good looking models in magazines ?

  • Hi everyone I seen a story the other night about girls having a low self esteem when looking at other girls in them girly magazines. Lets face it we can’t all look like a model I really thought what a load of crap. I look at mags with hot guys in them and yes I will say I do wish I could look as good as some of these models but I don’t get all cut up about it. They also went on to say these celebrities aren’t good role models well I would have to agree with them there. There are some people out there that take on the attitudes of some celebrities I actually know some one that thinks being a ***** is cool don’t know why lol. What do you think about all of this? Are you one to get all cut up because you don’t look hot like some of the models in the magazines?

Personally no, they airbrush all of their "flaws" and minus the makeup and expensive clothing they used to take that picture for the magazine, their just normal people like everyone else. Most people don't understand is that these models don't wake up in the morning looking "flawless". Everything in a magazine is modified-edited. I doubt there is one picture in a beauty magazine that hasn't been retouched, airbrushed, etc.

I think it depends about your personalities, If you want to face the low self -esteem then you need to do so.
