Which magazine is better: Popular Mechanics or Wired?

Did anyone else get a 'Wired' magazine?

  • 'Wired' is not a magazine I hunt down to read. Sure, they had that article on Manga a couple of months back, but it's like the billionth most popular magazine on my list. Imagine my shock when the latest issue turned up in my mailbox WITH MY YAHOO NAME on it. It opens the door to more questions: 1) If Yahoo! did this, shouldn't I have a choice of which magazine I would like? 2) If Yahoo! did this, shouldn't I have gotten a little note, telling me this? (You have been such a great member for us, you are getting a one-year free subscription to 'Holistic Rhinoplasty', with our complements!) 3) If Yahoo! has my information, who ELSE has my information? It's bad enough I get e-mail spam from hot Asian sluuts or 75% off Viagra! (I assume, because I am hanging around the hot Asian sluuts) or some Nigerian oil minister needs my bank account to free up a bajillion dollars (and I'll get what's coming to me), that Yahoo! is adding to it. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hey , I can feel that you're a true anime fan! xD So I just wanted to tell you that I know about this really cool online site, for manga and anime :) (Link in the Source) You need to pay for membership tho -_- kinda annoying.. but it's just one time for sign-up :) I must say that the animasions there are simple fabulous :) Good quility, my friend xD lol Was just thinking that your favorite amine might be there too :) But good luck with your problem! Might be a question for Yahoo! itself? I get Wired, but I asked for it. And when I registered for Yahoo I didn't give any personal information because it didn't ask for it. And if you didn't pay, chances are it was a gift.

Do you have a friend who might have done this who know your Yahoo name? I once got a free gift subscription to a magazine because I had subscribed to another magazine from the same publishing company. Do you subscribe to any other magazines? As for your 1. comment: Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! LOL (I do like to read Wire in the libraries. There is always something worth reading in them.)
