What qualifications are needed to be fashion editor at Vogue?

  • I was wondering what qualifications and skills are needed to be the fashion editor at Vogue/Elle/Glamour/Harpers Bazaar/Tatler any other high end fashion magazines. Please list everything you know, even if it is very little! If anyone knows extra details, like salaries, what training is needed and how long it usually takes, please let me know! 10 points for the best answer! :D

I think its more about your knowledge and passion for fashion that gets you to the highest job. So GCSE Textiles is the best place to start, from there on you could get into more creative/clothing course as you progress in to higher education. I'm sure you have to climb your way through jobs to get to the highest job, getting intern ships and gaining more experience will benefit. And you have to be good at English to write good editorials. Hope this helps!
