Which magazine is better: Elle or Vogue?

Vogue and Elle readers: Do you ever buy any of the stuff advertised in the magazine?

I can't afford any of it myself, part of the appeal for me is looking at stuff I can't afford but hoping that one day I can.

I feel the same way - usually I don't ever end up getting any of the clothing featured in the magazines, but beauty porducts are easier for me to buy from there. This is usually because I want good products for my skin, etc, and if they have good reviews in a magazine then it makes me think it will be a good product. It usually ends up being the cheaper things in the magazines.
