Does anyone know about writing magazine articles and interviewing for information?

90s girls magazine...anyone remember the name?

• In the late 90s, like 1998-1999, I had a subscription to this girls' magazine and I loved it- I just can't remember what in the world it was called. I keep thinking it had a 1-word name, like Jump or something?? (Although I tried Googling that and nothing seemed to match) Part of the logo was a big asterisk, that's one thing I remember. It was aimed mostly at preteens and teenagers, and featured the typical stuff like celebrity covers and articles on real peoples' stories... I remember Mandy Moore being on the cover and Jessica Simpson once... anyone know of anywhere I could find a list of 90s girls magazines and maybe figure this out? My sister & I were just trying to remember, since we both read it. Haha it's not crucial that I know this information, but I am really curious :)
