How much does an Italian comic magazine cost?

How much is this Magazine worth??

  • Would anyone know how much this magazine would be worth? It's a Times magazine from May 26, 1941 Volume XXXVII Number 21 with a picture of France's Darlan on the cover. I cannot for the life of me find out how much it's worth, I can only find the cover for $20... It's in nearly perfect condition, just a couple bent pages that can be straightened back out easily.

    If you've already checked ebay, it may be that the only value is in the cover. You could also go to comic shops and ask. They may be able to direct you to a place that could help. Either way, act like you are not interested in selling so you get an honest answer. If they are interested in the magazine you have, they may give you a lower value and offer to purchase it for less than it's worth. Also, consider an appraiser, you may have to pay a fee but you would surely find out it's worth. Just a thought, when you checked ebay, did you type in keywords, "time magazine", or Frances Darlan Time magazine". Finally, sometimes the only value in books/magazine are first issues or numbered copies. Good Luck!

Go to ebay and look up used magazines. Most older magazines dont sell for much but some can go for up to $100.00 because of the cover (Like a very old issue of Vogue with a cover by artist Helen Dryden) or because of certain advertisments inside. There are people who collect old magazine ads.....and some of the ads can go for a lot depending on the artist. But most issues that sell for a lot are fashion magazines before 1930.
