If i was to work at a magazine?

Is this a good plan to work for a magazine when I'm older?

• I am 15 and I would really like to work for a magazine one day, probably one that involves fashion, beauty, art and culture. I'm not exactly sure what I'd do, but I am interested in both the written and visual aspects of the magazine. Do you think I'd be able to do that though? Write articles for the magazine AND design the layout too? I think I would do something like that first and then work my way up to magazine editor. When I go to college I would double major in Journalism and Graphic Design, and I think I'd work at a bridal store or something to learn about the practical side of fashion. Would I need to minor in fashion at college? I think I'd just prefer doing what I've planned, double major in Journalism/Graphic Design and work at a bridal store. But if I absolutely need to get some sort of fashion degree, then I'll do that.

  I give you great credit for asking. Easily, many magazines are not operating profitably today. Most all newspapers are presently operating in the red. The skills your suggesting might be used in an advertising agency. The agency tat gets the clients pay very well bet the want the most talented people. Good Luck.
