How much ink will it take to print a magazine?

  • I want to print a magazine thats 168 pages long and im gonna take out most of the ads,(probably about 10-15 pages) so about how much ink/ how many cartridges/ how much will it cost to print it in color? its a magazine with lots of pictures of people, and also some black and white but not a lot, but just give me an estimate of how much you think please:) thanks:) also im gonna print it at my business center at my apartment complex for free if the ink is in color:)

If you print the whole mag with pictures and text in it, you might finish off the whole ink cartridge. Why don't just buy discounted ink cartridge instead.

Even if you knew would that change your need to print this thing? No one can give you even a rough estimate until you say exactly how many, and what the perimeters of the magazine is, and that is just for starters. Go see a printer, quick! If it is within range of the average magazine you are looking at nothing less than 4 to 6 thousand dollars.
