  Some parents like the idea of youngsters having a magazine targeted specifically to them, without knowing what kind of material is inside and what lessons their children are going to pick up. They see the outside, with all the pretty colors and young fresh-faced celebrities, without thinking what's on the inside. These ignorant parents are the types who think Family Guy is for kids just because it is a cartoon. xD A good parent shouldn't be so lazy. They should look beyond the cover, read the material, then make the judgment of whether or not something is appropriate, and if it teaches their children the right lessons. If I was a parent, I certainly wouldn't want my children placing such high emphasis on celebrities. It's superficial. It's like saying, "They're famous and have millions of dollars! Let's worship them!" They're only people. Plus, many of them got to their position for something stupid (partying, sex tape, nude pictures, taking drugs) and have IQs way below average.
