What is the best self publishing company?

Self Publishing Company...Paper type? lol helppp?

• Ok so I want to self publish my own book, but Im really picky about paper type.. theres like the white crisp printer paper type, and then theres the creamy yellow textury paper type. Its like thick and smells like 'book'. i know this sounds really weird but yeah, im hoping to find a self publishing company that uses the creamy yellow texture paper.   If you are looking to use Print-on-demand, it will be difficult to find that paper. Print-on-demand uses digital printing technology which requires paper to be smooth. You can find the yellowish color - called the natural shade paper but finding that rough texture will be hard. You can check out Lulu's publisher grade paper which is available in certain sizes. If you are really keen on that kind of paper, you may have better luck working with some local printer and print in bulk using offset. You can find printers who offer ultra short offset runs - 200-300 copies. Hope this helps. Abhaya
