How to read long, dense articles?

Sometimes I read magazine articles that are interesting, how do you guys usually organize these articles? Some?

  me i like to copy or scan them what ever word you use. and keep them in a folder like you said as they can be very handy for assignments and by that way you have the mag in its original condition and a copy incase you ruin it
