• so in english class i have to design a magazine cover and discuss why i chose this type of magazine and why i design it a certain why and i have to tell the whole class :S anyway i was thinking of an anime magazine(which ill proberly regret because like one in my class watches anime >.>) but im looking for opinions on what to talk about, what should the cover picture be and side stories. i was thinking Death note for the cover and the main story would be about the american Death Note live action movie wether it will be good or not and i was thinking maybe a competition to win a trip to japan. (its just a cover i don't have to actually write articles or anything) so yeah give me your opinions good or bad. even suggestions are welcomed. if you have a name for the mag that would be great. i was thiking of somehting like OTAKU...then i realised it was taken arghh

  I would change the trip to Japan to an anime tour of Japan. The tour would be designed using real world sites that are featured in anime programs or that inspired fictional places in anime programs. As for the pretend articles, how about an anime otaku quiz? Perhaps articles discussing what genres in anime appeal to what age groups and genders and which genres have the broadest appeal? Since you are covering a live action adaptation of a manga that was turned into an anime, why not an article or the first in a series that deal with anime that are not based on manga-assuming there are any? An interview with the head of FUNimation or RightStuf International or some other company that markest anime to the American audience?
