Are there often free gifts with essentials magazine?

Do people actually receive the free gifts from magazine subscriptions?

  • I just subscribed to a magazine for the first time and as a bonus they offered a free gift for my subscription. One thing that was strange though is in the email about the transaction it didn't even mention the free gift. Has anyone ever subscribed for a magazine and didn't receive their free gift or does it arrive at the same time that the issues do?

I once subscribed to Seventeen Magazine, and their prize was a makeup bag. I did receive it, however, it was a few weeks after my first issue arrived. You should recieve something within the next few weeks, if not call customer service and ask for help.
