How do I make a really good travel magazine?

• I'm planning on starting a magazine for students. I was sitting and thinking about where a gap in the market might be... and this is what I came up with. It would be a magazine about Uni life. Info about the best clubs, upcoming events. Cheap student fashion, featuring models from the individual universities. Ways to make money. Easy recipes. Local events e.g. upcoming concerts, football games. Competitions. It would have articles about things students want to know about and are interested in - Clubbing. Sex. Travel. Fashion. It this cost around £1.10 per week, so pretty cheap, would you buy it? Also, what else could I put in it? -Answer this thinking like you were a uni student! :D

  Sounds like a good idea. I'm starting a magazine soon myself, but totally different from yours. Make sure you work on at least a year's worth of editions before marketing it. This way you won't run out of ideas and be strapped wondering what to put in next month's edition. It'll be a lot of hard work, but if you truly are into doing this, then it actually won't really feel like work. People take a lot of interest especially when there are prizes to be worn. Don't make it too hard to win a prize, that can be a quick turnoff. And if you're gonna sell it cheap, make sure you can afford to publish the magazine (that's not cheap). Get some ads in it and don't start off too expensive with the costs. All the best!!!
