How to work out Ucas Points?

How many UCAS Points is an NVQ Level 3? And do I have enough points for University?

• I'm so confused. Basically I want to study a foundation degree in Buying & Merchandising at London College of Fashion. And it says on the website these are the entry requirements: Minimum Entry Requirements have 1 A level at grade C or above plus GCSE Maths at Grade B plus passes in 3 other GCSE subjects at grade C or above including English or have a BTEC National Diploma in a fashion related subject plus GCSE Maths at Grade B plus passes in 3 other GCSE subjects at grade C or above including English or have Level 3 Diploma in Fashion Retail at grade Merit or have successfully completed a relevant Access course, 48 credits at level 3 or equivalent qualifications. For International qualifications see the International Qualifications Guide This course requires a minimum of 80 UCAS tariff points So if I have an NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy, how many UCAS points is that because I can't find it anywhere?! And I'm studying my business a level at the moment so that's going to be roughly 80 points. I also volunteer at oxfam, but apparently that gives you no points, just something good to say? The Uni said last year they had 445 people applying for 25 places which has really worried me because this is what I really want to do in the future :/. Someone help me?! Does my volunteering count for anything? Does my NVQ count :/!?? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

  Use the UCAS points calculator to count how many points you have from your current qualifications NVQ's do not convert to UCAS points as VQ's are classed as work-based qualifications. Do you any qualifications that are fashion related eg fashion, art, design etc other than that I can only see you getting in if you get your 'A' level and have GCSE's as well Volunteering is not a qualification but assists your personal statement
