How hard is the AP World History class?

I'm afraid to fail my AP World History class! How can I improve?

• I'm a freshman in high school and I got placed into AP World History (I didn't pick my classes. I took a test and school is chose what would be best for me) Anyway, on my first test I got a 43/55 - 78.18% which is a C On homework I get about 90% to a 100% My current grade is a 88% which is a B But tomorrow is my second test and I am freaking out! I don't have time to study because I have honors classes to worry about as well. I was placed in a curse (AVID) that helps you excel in high school by taking great notes and so on. I have to be very organized. But being me I take about 6 hours to finish homework ( yeah I know crazy) because I tend to put detail and I feel the need to write everything down. Usually I am good at notes, but for AP world nothing seems to stick to my brain. For the first test I noticed that the questions are worded so differently and it confuses me so much! I am just so worried and I know I should not be making a big deal about this, but it I am angry at myself for not understanding things. So what can I do to improve? Sorry it's so long. Thanks!

  Well obviously you seem to like organization and thats really good. But what will help you memorize is reading those notes over and over. Make it fun! Do some external research upon those topics... when you find something fun to read, learning is ALWAYS easier!! Don't stress out, and in class always always always ask questions. Because they'll only give you more answers and help you prepare better for upcoming tests Good luck!!=)
