Speech help?

(Speech) Reading/Speech/Spelling Help ( I have a accent???)?

• Speech - I have a lot of trouble pronouncing words i can't say yours and couldn't say yellow til i was in 7 grade. I have a lot of trouble with words that have y in it. Sometimes i have trouble with other words to well more like a lot mostly big words. Well my point is i have a lot of trouble with speech. I am in 8 grade and i am 13 and i am in a normal class also. I had this problem ever since i was born i started talking late but my parents told me when they told the doctor when i was like still a baby they didn't do anything. so when i was like 10 my parents try to get outside help for me but our insurance didn't cover it cause they said i had in school free help already but it didn't help all we did is play stupid bored games for 30 min. Reading - Because of my speech problem i am bad at reading cause i never learn to sound out words the right way cause of my speech issues i don't even know how i am able to read on the level i am right now. ( reading on a 5 - 6 grade level well that's what my school said but i think i am on 4 grade) Spelling - after all i told you, you should guess what i am about to say here well if you can't my spelling is just the worst i can't spell at all well i can but not on a 6 or 5 grade level. My friends told me i have a accent and like everyone who i ever talk to but my parents and my grandparents was all born and raise in America and English is my first and only language. Well i think i said all i can. If you know how i can fix this problem please tell me. Well i think i kind of over did it i might not be that bad but i am still bad.

  take your thing pronouncing the words and if you don't know the word, get something that would say the word and follow saying it. you can always practice saying the a b c to improve your speaking
