What is an average day like at job corps?

What is job corps like and should i go?

• There is a possiblity that i will be without a place in two months. i live in the city of miami and i am 18. I do not live with my parents and they are very far. I was trying to go to a community college but i have not been in the state of florida for more than a year and a day so my tuition does not cover my classes as an out of state student. I had a job but i lost it recently, i am looking but i cant put my money on anything until i actually get a job. I heard about job corps and actually had a relative that went but he went to the one in Pennsylvannia. I wanted to know is it a good idea to go, do they really provide freee education and free place to stay? please ive been reading up on it but if there is anyone that really knows about it or has even been there themselves that would be wonderful. Thank you very much. P.S. and how can i get in touch with an admissions counsler quicker? ive been trying to get in touch with one but they are very difficult to come in contact with.

  if you have no other option then go to job corps. Most of the people who I went there with were lazy and stupid and did nothing but blame everything on everyone but themselves. How stupid you ask? I'll give you an example. A few of the kids wanted to start a restaurant when they got out. I told them since they had no real idea what they were doing they should do something like buy a subway franchise where they would get some help and a premade business. here is who they responded. student a: That's a great idea! we will buy a subway and rip it out and put in our own restaurant! student b: I used to work at subway so I could most likely get my old employee discount off the store owner!
