How long should I study? What is the correct way to study?
-
I'm currently studying Arabic language, my teacher said I have to study at least 1 hour per day at home. But its not enough, so I usually study in my room for 4 hours or so. But sometimes I get bored. My friend said study for 40 minutes then rest for a while then continue to study for another 40 minutes. Maybe there is another way to study? So I don't get bored easily? And much more effective?

Answer:
I think the best way to study without being bored is to relax yourself. For example, before you start to study, you have to clear up your mind and think only about happy things and concentrate on the book. Make sure you're far from any distractions. Sometimes you do get bored no matter what. In that case, you just have to leave your desk a little while and walk around your room or your house or looking out of the windows so that your brain absorb new pictures. But don't take this too long. I see you're studying Arabic, then I'd say the best way is to practice, as they always say, 'Practice makes perfect.' You should watch Arabic news on TV or listen to the Arabic radio. You can also practice your Arabic with your classmates! Best lucks!

Well when I had to learn English I was fluent in a year so I will give you some tips. =) *Read Arabic newspapers. *Watch Arabic TV/movies. *Listen to Arabic radio stations. *Read Arabic books. *Note vocab down you don't understand and learn them. *Try learning 10 new words a day. *Try to speak to as many people as you can in Arabic and practice conversations. *Make an Arabic pen pal so you can practice writing as well. *Go on holiday to an Arabic country. *I think 2-3 hours should be enough as long as you don't cram in too much at once. *Make flash cards. *Make posters to stick up on your wall. *Work with friends/family. *Maybe you can IM Arabic people. Might be fun. =)
brother learning a language is diffrent from learning some thing else like physics or maths because here you do not have logic to imply so you cant "learn" anything in language but you have to remeber words the only way possible to remember all thousands of words is to practice it daily or at least hear them watch tv movies of you flavour in that language read novels of that lanugage and have dictionary (it might not have all words you hear still wil do ok) then have friends which your language and the language you wana learn hope that is the answer of your question
