How do you write a good UCAS?

I haven't got anyone to write a reference for me for my UCAS application, what do I do?

I have been out of school now for 5 years, so I wouldnt go and get a reference from my secondary school, I'm not sure if my tutor is still there and even if she was I don't remember her name (I know it's bad!!) ..so anyway, i've recently been taking these short microsoft courses and when I came to ask my tutor if he could write a reference for me he refused!! I'm left with NOONE to write one for me...what can I do? are there other options for people who can't find anyone to write one for them. Please help

Go back to your school, all the records will be there. Ask if someone would be so kind as to write you a reference. Failing that ask another professional who has known you for a few years if they could help.
