Help me calculate gpa?

  • Hey guys, im just curious about how AP classes work in gpa, since they give an extra ten points. I have 9 classes (including ap) so far. One of them is an 89, while the rest are As. 95,96,93,93,92,93. Excluding the ap class. Ap i got a 101, so its actually a 91. So what would my gpa be?

    You need to weight them by credits and also use the weighted gpa scale. It sounds like your school uses a +10 addition for AP classes. If all of your classes have the same number of credits, you should add up all of the scores and divide by the number of classes. Use 101 for the AP class to get your weighted GPA. Use 91 for the AP class to get the unweighted GPA.
