How much does a male nurse make a month working in a hospital as a staff nurse?
-
I am a male, but I wanna be a nurse depending on the pay because it would be weird to be a nurse when I'm a guy so if they pay food money a month around 8-10,000 or anything good like that I wanna be a nurse so please answer how much a staff nurse would coast.

Answer:
Male nurses are not such a rarity as they used to be. Get your degree first, then worry about what the compensation will be. Many things will affect the pay scale, but the wage is livable and you'll be able to pay your bills and still have some left over. You may change your mind about where you want to be by the time you graduate ... surgical nurse, peds, even private duty.

Pay scales are normally the same regardless of sex. I assume you are speaking of registered nurses.
