GED, GI BILL, SCHOOLS in FL?

There are two directions in which to go. Because engineering and mechanics are generally four-year studies, you have some time to work things out. One choice, as others have said, is to investigate schools in your area which offer the courses you are interested in. You can check out the college's website for an online catalog (Google search by the name of the college) and look to see if "mechanics," "engineering," or "aircraft engineering" are offered as majors. If so, then you can contact the admissions office of that college and find out whether you qualify and what steps you need to take. Your second choice is enrollment in a community college. Community colleges tend to admit students without SAT or ACT scores and have more frequent enrollments. Visit a community college, talk to someone in the counseling department, and ask what your choices are. After you are in school and starting to work toward your goal, you will have plenty of time to take the SAT or ACT for admission into a four year college.
