How can I increase my GPA?

How can i increase my gpa in high school?

  • I am a senior at my high school. i have a 2.34 accumulative gpa. And for some reason i can never do well on all of my subjects(i may do good in one half of my subjects and bad on the other half...and then when i try and improve on the bad half of my subjects, i start to do bad on my good half of my subjects) Can anyone help me to increase my gpa because im trying to get a higher gpa for college.

  • Answer:

Do better in your classes, by completing homework on time or projects on time. Concentrate a good amount of time on all your subjects not just one and most importantly don't procrastinate on hw, projects, or reading. If anything talk to your teachers about what you can do or ask for help. Good luck

It's February. I assume you've already finished applying to colleges. Your grades this semester won't really matter as far as acceptances go, though you should still try to keep your grades up so that if you do get accepted they won't revoke it... At this point, there's not much you can do. Get all your work in on time. Study hard. Show your teachers you care. If you get into a decent college, don't slack off right at the start.

coming from a nerd with a 3.8, i would recommend putting school first, friends second, and study any chance you get! also, if you ha vent applied to college yet, consider taking a gap year (ask your guidance counselor about it) it looks great on lots of colleges, and is supposed to be fun. join clubs and get involved in community service to! im in neuroscience club, science club, medical club, key club and campus ministry (yes i have friends:p) and am getting college emails as a sophomore from great schools because of my extracurriculars! be a nerd, it helps ;b good luck.

If you take the same number of credits each semester and get all A's this semester, your highest possible GPA would be: (2.34 * 7 + 4.0 * 1) / 8 = 2.55 That's still very low for anything other than a community college. If you really do want to go to college (and your grades suggest you shouldn't), community college is the place to start.
