ARE THERE ANY SCHOLARSHIPS OUT THERE THAT DON'T REQUIRE WRITING ESSAYS? I AM A PRETTY GOOD, AVERAGE STUDENT. MY GPA LAST YEAR IN MY JUNIOR YEAR WAS A 3.7, BUT MY ***. GPA FROM 9TH-11TH GRADE SO FAR WAS/IS 3.1 B/C I DIDN'T SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF HONOR ROLL GRADES EARLY IN MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS I LET A FEW C'S SLIP IN 9TH AND 10TH GRADE. THIS YEAR, I'M DEFINITELY GONNA GET ALL A'S, AT LEAST ALL A'S AND B'S AGAIN. I KNOW THIS WILL GREATLY HELP MY TOTAL ***. GPA. SO, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE A STUDENT LIKE ME COULD FIND A SCHOLARSHIP W/O HAVING TO WRITE AN ESSAY? IF U KNOW ANY, PLEASE HELP. THANKS!

Yes. there are scholarships that don't require essays to try for them. These scholarships are usually done lottery style, and might be a little trickier to find. Try www.fastwebs.com, answer their questions then read the descriptions for the scholarships that are matched to you, this will tell you what they require and what they are :)

Find a student who writes and edits and ask them to assist you with a couple of basic essays. It will take you years to research scholarships that don't ask for essays. You seem to write very well, so try writing one. No one expects it to be perfect and you will be taking English and Composition in college anyway. Everyone writes the same blah, blah, blah so just do the best that you can. If you want I can check it over for you. Best of luck and don't take things too seriously. You are going to be fine!

You're going to be writing essays all through college...so don't think that this will get you away from writing them...Just do it, theres so many more that need a essay, but would be so much easier to get.
