How hard is it to transfer to Northwestern University?

How hard is it to transfer into Michigan state university from where I stand/am at?

  • I'm a freshman at University of Michigan-Dearborn. What is it that I need to do to have a good chance of getting in besides getting good grades. I belong to 4 different groups. I'm a bio-engineer major with pre-vet. My Average highschool GPA was a 3.0. I got a 22 on my ACT. I came from a magnet high school (Renaissance high school). I have 200+ hours of community service coming from Robotics, the symphony marching, a french club and HNGD (Haitian Network Group of Detroit). Also, should I start applying now or wait until this semester is over?

  • Answer:

Talk to someone at the Admissions or transfer office, their website is: http://admissions.msu.edu/admission/transfer_requirements.asp http://www.msu.edu/admissions/index.html Your current ACT is good, think you're in pretty good academic shape.
