Does anyone know about Diagnostic Medical Sonography?

Does anyone know any accredited program in Chicago area, which offers course in Diagnostic Medical Sonography?

I am very interested in studying Diagnostic medical sonography. First of all, Do I need earn Associates degree to become a specialist in that field? or I can get around only with a certificate? Secondly, Harper college is not accepting applications for fall semester anymore. Does anyone know any other affordable college, where I can earn associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography? Thanks

Here is the link to all the accredited DMS programs by state: http://www.caahep.org/Find-An-Accredited-Program/ An Associate's is most common for this field, but a certificate is sufficient. However, certificate programs are only open to people with certain backgrounds, like Rad Techs. Good luck :)
