How is iipm for doing mba?

Is it good to opt BBA with MBA degree from IIPM ?

  • Currently i'm in fourth year of my engineering and i have many arrears from which i feel that i cannot finish my engineering. Now i'm thinking to go for IIPM's integrated programme(BBA+MBA in three years), so that i can also get a master degree with in three years from which i can save at least two years. Please give me a suggestion such that it could help me in taking the future step.

  • Answer:

you won't get MBA degree within 3 years, you will have to work for 2 years after BBA, then they will give PGDM degree...not MBA. but both are same.... :) u are in the 4th year of engineering, try to clear ur errors soon and directly join in MBA... MBA is better than integrated BBA+MBA. but IIPM has many legal issues regarding it's recognition. it was not approved by AICTE and UGC. take a nice decision.ask ex students of IIPM. good luck :)

If you want to shift to another stream, then why engineering buddy??In any ways if you pay their tuition fees in time and reserve a seat in any of the iipms....you can finish MBA easily. But I would like to suggest another course in your stream like Animation/video game programming,Video game management/Industrial Designing International campus experience in India. You can take a free tour of http://www.dsksic.com/, You got to believe those companies that are shown actually recruits candidates because of Bases in 8 countries in the World. It is a venture of the French Government & well Known in the western countries.

If you have already taken a decision to move towards management then check the forums on pagalguy for information on IIPM. Don't get carried away by their large format advertisements. You can also evaluate Dayananda Sagar Business School - http://www.dsbschool.org - the top faculty are from IIM Bangalore - you should get the same IIM-B quality of education.

I would suggest you make an ardent effort to complete your Engg, having reached the fourth year. You may land up with the same predicament in BBA and MBA.Besides,IIPM is not recognised by AICTE.
