How do I get my italian diploma evaluated for the US college?

Will they accept you at a college without a diploma and are you able to get it there?

• my younger sister who is 17 and a junior is thinking about dropping out of high school, theres nothing i can do about it since she emancipated from her guardians... so she can do whatever she wants. I talked to her and her plans are to drop out because she is way behind on her credits. She wants to do something hands on therefore she is looking into Job Corps and getting her diploma their and then go to college after she graduates from there.. Does anyone know of any colleges in/near Los Angeles California, where she can go straight into college and get her diploma their without her going into Job Corps. I dont want her to F*** up..

  No, you need a GED or high school diploma. IF she drops now, she would have to take a GED class (that would be 9-12 grade classes, all subjects) in a short period of time. Tell her to hang on and finish. Also colleges have more respect toward high school graduates than people that drop out and get a GED. Tell her that school is boring but if she wants to have a better life and give that to her future kids and husband, she must sacrifice herself. She needs also to rely on herself in the future. Meaning she needs enough money for food, shelter (rent/house) and medical expenses/ car expenses. GED is hard to pass! They want you to do 9-12 grade in 6 months!
